Ben Coombes

Ben Coombes serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Meldus, beginning in February 2024, leading AI-powered business intelligence efforts for Salesforce insights. Concurrently, Ben has contributed as a Board Observer and as a Director and Strategic Advisor at Practifi since September 2014, focusing on connecting wealth businesses with their customers. Previous roles include COO at Billtrader, where operational efficiencies in accounts payable for IP firms were enhanced, and Business Operations Manager at Baraja, innovating LiDAR technology for self-driving cars. As a Managing Director for independent consulting and General Manager at inovia, Ben helped streamline the foreign patent filing process. Early experience includes positions at PCTFILER Holdings and IP Australia, as well as a foundational role as a Systems Engineer at Global Position and Tracking Systems. Ben holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Systems from the University of Technology Sydney and a Graduate Certificate in Applied Finance from Kaplan Professional.
