Umesh Banga

Umesh Banga has a wealth of experience in the financial services industry. Umesh began their career in 2002 as a Project Manager at AIFE. In 2010, they moved to PSK Financial Services as a Paraplanning/Project Manager. Here, they managed full project lifecycles concerning the implementation of the XPLAN system and presided over dedicated teams connected with optimal time utilisation. In 2013, they became a Key Account Manager at IRESS, where they delivered expert recommendations to key accounts and liaised with Account Directors, Sales, and Solutions Management to ideate and launch integrated digital strategies. In 2016, they joined IOOF as the Head of Advice Technology and Projects. In this role, they employed control and authorisation over the ideation, development, and launch of a four-pillar strategy, ultimately realizing a $1 million savings per annum on consulting charging. Finally, in 2021, they became Director at Practifi.

Umesh Banga has an extensive educational background. Umesh started their education in 1998, when they earned a Bachelor of Technology (Engineering) in Computer Science from SSIET. In 2003, they earned a Graduate Diploma in Business and IT from RMIT University, followed by a Masters in Information Systems from CQUniversity in 2004. In 2009, they earned a Diploma in Financial Services from RG146, as well as a Diploma in Quality Auditing and a Diploma of Business from ATC Australia. Additionally, they earned a Certificate in Governance Practice from Chartered Secretaries Australia and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment from Training and Assessment. In 2011, they earned an Advanced Diploma in Financial Services from IIT (Australia). Banga has also obtained several certifications, including ICAgile Certified Professional - Agile Coaching, Scrum Master Certified (SMC), Scrum Fundamentals Certified (SFC), PRINCE2, Certified SAFe 5 Product Owner/Product Manager, Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner, Certified SAFe Agilist, and Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO).
