Tom Swift is a Patent Attorney currently serving as Patent Counsel on a part-time secondment at Pragmatic Semiconductor since 2024. Previously, Tom held positions as a UK and European Patent Attorney at EIP in 2024 and was a Patent Scientist. Tom also completed a prestigious EPSRC Doctoral Prize Fellowship at the University of Bristol from 2018 to 2019, focusing on ultrafast spectroscopy and nanomaterials, and worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate during that time. Tom earned a PhD in Functional Nanomaterials from the University of Bristol between 2014 and 2018.
