Prairie Ridge Development is a vertically integrated real estate and construction firm with affiliated entities spanning development, construction, and property management. Founded by Brian Pawlik and Michael Nortman, who have collaborated for over 20 years, the firm delivers high-quality multi-family, commercial, and industrial projects across the region.

Through Prairie Ridge Development, the company sources and structures opportunities, performs financial modeling and feasibility analysis, and manages entitlement, design, and engineering. Acting as development manager, Prairie Ridge directs architects, contractors, and consultants while engaging communities and stakeholders to ensure projects are strategically executed and positioned for long-term value.

Prairie Ridge Construction provides full-service general contracting and construction management, including preconstruction planning, budgeting, value engineering, scheduling, procurement, subcontractor management, site supervision, quality control, safety oversight, and project closeout.

The firm collaborates with Xroads Real Estate Advisors, Inc., which combines entrepreneurial agility and institutional expertise to deliver asset management, property management, agency leasing, back-office accounting, and development services across 7.5+ million square feet in Chicagoland and select national markets.

This integrated approach allows Prairie Ridge to manage every phase of the real estate lifecycle—from acquisition and design through construction and long-term operations—ensuring efficiency, quality, and enduring value.
