Smitin Brid

Smitin Brid is an Early Childhood Development and Education expert with over 25 years of experience in designing and strengthening foundational learning systems across India. Currently, they direct the Early Childhood Program at Pratham Education Foundation, where they shape strategy and lead community engagements for preschool initiatives. Smitin has contributed significantly to the integration of parent-led and community-based learning into formal education systems, ensuring inclusivity and sustainability. Their extensive work includes mobilizing volunteers to mainstream out-of-school children into formal education and promoting women edupreneurs in early childhood centers. Smitin has also served as Principal of the Pratham-IGNOU Community College and has earned multiple certifications in early childhood education and sustainable development.
