Michael Hess

Michael Hess is an experienced engineering leader with a diverse background in advanced manufacturing and project management. Currently serving as the Director of Special Projects at Linde Advanced Material Technologies and the Director of Advanced Manufacturing at Praxair Surface Technologies, Michael has progressively held key roles at Rolls-Royce, including Chief of Production Introduction and Capability Acquisition, where responsibilities included leading manufacturing product introduction for the Indianapolis business. Michael's career also features significant contributions at Chrysler, managing engineering teams to enhance transmission component manufacturing, as well as a foundation in mechanical engineering with early consulting experience at Giffels Associates, Inc. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Management from Indiana Wesleyan University and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Toledo.
