Ben Bays

Ben Bays has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Ben currently serves as the VP of Delivery at Praxent since 2023. Prior to this, they worked at projekt202 starting in 2015 and held various positions including Technology Practice Director, Lead, Financial Services, Director of Technology, Principal Architect, and Software Architect. At IgnitedD2K in 2015, they worked as a Lead DevSecOps Engineer specializing in DevOps and automation. From 2013 to 2015, they worked at Flywheel Building Intelligence, Inc. as a Lead Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer, where they designed and implemented build and deployment infrastructure. At Raytheon, they started as a Software Engineer II in 2008 and eventually became the team architect. Ben'sresponsibilities included object-oriented design, system domain, performance analysis, and Java development. Ben started their career as a Software Engineer at IBM in 2006, working on PERL development for tools used by hardware engineers. In 2005, they interned as a Software Engineer at Daimler-Chrysler, gaining experience in various programming languages and technologies.

Ben Bays obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Zoology from Michigan State University, where they attended from 2003 to 2007. In October 2017, they also obtained the AWS Solution Architect Associate certification.
