Christopher Walker

Christopher Walker has extensive work experience in operations, marketing, and administration. Christopher is currently the VP of Operations at Praxent, where they lead business operations and people operations. Prior to this role, they served as a Senior Director and Director of Operations at Praxent. Christopher has also held positions at UCETAM as a Language Administrator, Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center as a Marketing Manager, and Emmis Austin Radio and BMI as a Marketing Intern and Corporate Relations Intern, respectively. Christopher began their career as a Promotions/Production Intern at KTBC Fox 7.

Christopher Walker attended The University of Texas at Austin from an unknown start date to 2005. Christopher earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Radio-Television-Film and Media Studies, with a minor in Business Foundations. From 2011 to 2012, Christopher pursued a Master's degree in Bilingual and Multilingual Education at Universidad de Alcalá. Prior to their university education, they attended Stephenville High School. In addition to their formal education, Christopher has obtained several certifications. In 2010, they became a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) through the Project Management Institute. In 2015, they earned the Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification from Scrum Alliance. In 2019, they became a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), also from Scrum Alliance. Lastly, in 2020, Christopher obtained certifications in Diversity Recruiting and Unconscious Bias from LinkedIn. Most recently, in 2022, they achieved the SHRM - Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification from SHRM.
