Prazer Therapeutics is a biotech company developing orally available, brain-penetrating small molecule therapeutics with a novel approach to targeted protein degradation (TPD). The company aims to address the limitations of traditional bivalent and monovalent degraders, such as PROTACs and molecular glues, by identifying new degradation mechanisms through its proprietary TPD platform, SPiDEM. Prazer is focused on developing protein degraders for a broad range of intractable diseases across neuroscience, oncology, and immunology.

SPiDEM has received sustained recognition from the global biopharma community, including first place at the Seoul x BMS Innovation Square Challenge (2022) and second place at the Boehringer Ingelheim Innovation Challenge in Japan (2023). In 2024, Prazer was selected as the inaugural portfolio company of JLABS Korea and entered into collaborations with Yuhan Corporation and Daewon Pharma. In 2025, the company closed a Series B round led by Johnson & Johnson—marking J&J’s first direct equity investment in a Korean biotech company—and subsequently entered into a collaboration and license agreement with J&J to develop degraders for neurodegenerative diseases.
