Prudence Lunga

Prudence Lunga is an accomplished professional in the construction and quantity surveying sector, currently serving as Chairperson of the Board at JCI Cape Town since January 2025. Prior to this role, Prudence worked in various capacities in the hospitality and construction industries, including positions as a waiter at Karibu Restaurant and manager at Kubu African Grill. Prudence gained valuable experience at Turner & Townsend from February 2017 to January 2021, where roles included student intern, graduate quantity surveyor, quantity surveyor, and junior quantity surveyor. Additionally, Prudence contributed to academic development as a tutor for Construction Information Systems and Construction Technology II at the University of Cape Town. Prudence holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Studies and an Honors degree in Quantity Surveying from the same institution, completed in 2019 and 2020, respectively.
