Chris Sichel is a seasoned professional in the nonprofit sector, currently serving as Vice President of Programs at The Conrad Prebys Foundation since October 2023. Prior experience includes roles as President & CEO of both the Rancho Santa Fe Foundation (2021-2023) and the Make-A-Wish Foundation of San Diego (2005-2021). Previous positions also encompass Development Officer for the City of San Diego's Park & Recreation Department (2004-2005) and Executive Director of the City of San Diego Police's STAR/PAL program (1997-2004). Chris Sichel holds a Bachelor of Arts in Recreation Administration with a therapeutic emphasis from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, a certification in Foundations of Racial Equity from the University of San Diego School of Leadership and Education Sciences, and has completed a program in Strategic Perspectives in Non-Profit Management at Harvard Business School.
