Michael Sweetman

Michael Sweetman is a seasoned property professional currently serving as Project Director at Precinct Properties New Zealand Limited, where they lead the Bowen Campus and Willis Lane developments. They previously held the role of Retail Development Manager and spent five years delivering the transformative Commercial Bay project. Before joining Precinct, Michael worked at AMP Capital for eight years as Development & Asset Manager, overseeing key developments, including the Imperial Building project and the adjacent 45 Queen Street project, which significantly enhanced Auckland’s luxury retail landscape. Michael holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Property from Auckland University and is actively involved in the Property Council of NZ Retail Committee and their local high school’s Board of Trustees.
