Tim Capparella

Tim Capparella, PE, is an experienced automation engineer currently leading a team of eight engineers at Precis Engineering since September 2019, overseeing project resources, budgets, and schedules. Previously, Tim worked at The Dow Chemical Company from June 2011 to August 2019 in roles as a Process Automation Engineer, managing control systems for forty global production facilities, and as a Process Development Engineer, responsible for the production and improvement of polymer products. Additional roles include positions as a Junior Research Engineer at Merck, where Tim focused on pharmaceutical process development, a Junior Process Engineer at Rohm and Haas, and a Mechanical Testing Laboratory Technician at Arkema. Tim holds both a Master's and Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from Drexel University.
