Jorge Maciel

Dr. Jorge Maciel is currently the Executive Vice President of Physical Sciences at Precise Systems, Inc. and serves as the Chief Operating Officer at SciK9. With over 20 years of experience in molecular immunology, they have held key roles at Excet, Inc. as a Senior Research Scientist and CBRNE Manager. Dr. Maciel earned a Ph.D. in Molecular Microbiology and Immunology from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, where they also conducted significant research on infectious diseases and vaccine development. They have also worked in various capacities, including as a postdoctoral researcher at The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine, and as a graduate researcher at Johns Hopkins, earning multiple awards for their contributions to the field.
