Allan Christian

Allan Christian has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Allan started their career as a Manager at Jessops in 1999, where they focused on growing revenue through direct customer, B2B, and educational sources. From there, Allan worked at Southbank Systems as a Technical Support Consultant, providing technical and application support to an international client base. Allan later became a Technical Product Manager at the same company, where they interacted directly with customers to improve enterprise software and implemented early adopter strategies for major software releases.

Allan then joined MapInfo as a Lead Software Engineer - Quality Assurance, where they conducted extensive testing on desktop, server, and mobile applications and managed user acceptance testing with high-profile customers. Following that, they joined Pitney Bowes as a Manager of Product Development, leading the product development team for an enterprise asset management solution. Allan also worked as a Director of Engineering across two lines of business within Pitney Bowes, responsible for delivering enterprise-class commercial software.

At HSBC, Allan served as the Head of Technology | Communications Hub, operating as the CTO with global responsibility for defining and executing technology strategy for omni-channel digital communication and messaging. Allan utilized AWS cloud native development to scale globally and delivered personal and relevant messaging to consumers.

Currently, Allan is working at Precisely, where they have held various leadership roles. Allan started as a Vice President of Engineering, responsible for strategic technology across architecture, engineering, delivery, DevOps, and information security disciplines. Allan then became the Senior Vice President of Technology and Experience, leading the Technology and Experience organization for the Engage business unit. In this role, they are responsible for overall technology direction, architecture, engineering, operations, technical support, delivery, information security, and user experience.
