Ian Upton

Ian Upton has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Ian started their career as the North of England Sales Manager at CEM Microwave Technology Limited in 1990. Ian then worked as an Account Manager at Datametrics from 1997 to 2001. After that, they joined Precise Software as an Account Manager for a year. From 2002 to 2007, they worked as an Account Manager at Metron Technology Limited. Ian then became the SVP of UK Sales and Business Development at the same company from 2010 to 2017. Ian Upton further advanced their career as the Regional Sales Director, North Europe at Syncsort from 2017 to 2020. Currently, they hold the position of VP of Sales - North EMEA at Precisely | Trust in Data starting from 2020. In addition to their professional commitments, Ian Upton has also served as a Committee Member at Epsom Speakers from 2012 to 2017.

Ian Upton attended Smithills Moor Grammar for their early education. Ian later pursued a Special Honours degree in Physics from The University of Sheffield. In addition to their academic qualifications, Ian has obtained several certifications from Precisely, including "Precisely Global Kickoff 2023 Base Camp" and various others related to "Command of the Sale" and "Command of the Message."
