John Nobis

John Nobis has over 25 years of work experience in roles related to sales engineering, solutions engineering, and technical account management. John is currently serving as the Vice President of Sales Engineering at Precisely since January 2024. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Director of Sales Engineering at the same company since July 2021.

Before joining Precisely, John worked at Winshuttle as the Director of Solutions Engineering from January 2016 to July 2021. John also served in various roles at Nuance Communications, including Director of Deal Desk and Senior Manager of Sales Engineering & Technical Account Management from 2008 to 2015.

Earlier in their career, John worked as a Professional Services Engagement Manager at Avaya from 2006 to 2008. John was responsible for managing pre-sales engagements and driving revenue growth for professional services in the Western US region.

Prior to Avaya, they worked at Genuity as a Lead Systems Engineer and Regional Sales Engineering Lead from 2001 to 2003. John was responsible for successful sales of commercial IP networking and managed application hosting engagements to fortune 500 customers. During this time, they also managed a regional team of Sales/Systems Engineers.

John started their career as a Sr. eSolutions Architect at Innuity from 1999 to 2001 and Solutions Architect/Systems Engineer at Lucent Technologies/Mosaix from 1995 to 1999.

John Nobis has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Management & Information Systems from the University of Arizona - Eller College of Management.
