Tyler Brown

Tyler Brown has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Tyler currently works as a Principal Software Engineer at Precisely | Trust in Data. Prior to that, they served as a Software Developer at Pitney Bowes from 2018 to 2020. Tyler also has experience working at ADP as a Principal Applications Developer, where they developed JavaScript using AngularJS and served as a Scrum Master.

Tyler has also worked as an Agile Project Manager/Software Developer at Elementa: Science of the Anthropocene in 2014 and 2015, where they collaborated closely with another senior developer to enhance existing publishing platforms. Tyler has experience working at TomTom as a Senior Engineering Manager and later as a Principal Software Engineer and Expert Software Engineer. In these roles, they managed teams, employed lean process techniques, and used agile development practices such as Scrum and Test Driven Development.

Tyler's earlier experience includes working at Microsoft Corporation as a Sr. Software Engineer, where they participated in various development projects in the MapPoint group. Tyler also worked at Vicinity Corporation as a Sr. Software Engineer, developing software solutions for location-based services. Tyler began their career at Creative Labs, Fostex Research and Development, and New England Digital Corporation, where they gained experience in software engineering and DSP programming.

Tyler Brown earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Math/Computer Science from the University of Maine between 1980 and 1984.
