Amr ElSehemy

Amr ElSehemy has a diverse range of work experience in the technology industry. Amr began their career at Systex Digital Solutions as a Software Writer, where they designed and developed web and mobile applications. Amr then transitioned to EJADA as a Software Development Engineer, responsible for architecting and maintaining custom ERP solutions for a government sector in Saudi Arabia.

Afterwards, Amr worked as an R&D Software Engineer at IST Networks, focusing on speech technologies and natural language processing. Amr played a key role in developing their TTS engine, Nūn Project, and integrating it with various environments.

Amr then joined Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University as a Teacher Assistant before moving on to Microsoft Cairo Advanced Technology Lab. At Microsoft, they initially worked on the Language Understanding Intelligent Service (LUIS) team and later transitioned to the speech/speaker processing team. In these roles, they utilized deep learning and machine learning techniques to advance speech/speaker recognition technology.

Following Microsoft, Amr joined Mentor Graphics as a Senior Software Development Engineer, where they worked on software engineering and R&D in the R&D and Reference Design division of Siemens MindSphere, specifically focusing on machine acoustic analytics and computer vision for IoT integration.

Most recently, Amr joined Precision AI as the Head of Artificial Intelligence, demonstrating their expertise and leadership in the field.

Amr ElSehemy received their education in computer engineering. Amr attended Ain Shams University from 2008 to 2013, where they pursued Bachelor's degrees in both Computer and Systems Engineering and Applied Science, with a focus on Computer Engineering.
