Allison Smith

Allison Smith has had a varied and successful career in the medical field. In 2020, they became the Lead Clinical Consultant at Precision Analytical Inc. From 2014 to 2020, they were a Clinical Consultant at ZRT Laboratory, where they acted as the doctor's doctor and provided interpretation services for laboratory results. Allison also increased field-wide proficiency in hormone replacement therapy management and functional medicine, contributed blog content, wrote and presented educational webinars for health care providers, managed and mentored student representatives, and traveled to affiliated CE events to help provide clinical context to ZRT laboratory services. From 2009 to 2014, they were the Founder and Naturopathic Physician at Waterleaf Wellness Center, LLC. From 2007 to 2009, they were the Primary Intern at National College of Natural Medicine, where they treated patients at the NCNM clinics under the supervision of their attending naturopathic physicians.

Allison Smith completed their Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of North Texas in 2000. Allison then attended SCNM from 2005 to 2006, where they earned a ND Candidate in Naturopathic Medicine. Finally, they attended NCNM from 2006 to 2009 and earned their ND in Naturopathic Medicine.
