Michael D. has extensive experience in the coatings industry, currently serving as Lab Manager at Precision Coating since November 2018, where responsibilities include developing and scaling up new coating formulations and assisting in the introduction of new customer products. Previously, at Specialty Coating Systems, Inc., Michael held the position of Applications Engineer I and II, focusing on masking and coating processes for vapor deposition polymerization of Parylene, mentoring assistants, and leading continuous improvement projects using Six Sigma methodology. Additional experience includes roles as Technical Key Account Manager at Enthone, Quality Engineer and Development Engineer at SAFC Hitech, and Perl Coder & HIV Researcher at the University of Rochester Medical Center. Michael D. holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Rochester, complemented by a high school diploma with high honors from Lawrence Academy at Groton.
