Precision Coating
Michelle Martin has extensive experience in quality assurance and coating application within the medical device industry. Currently serving as a PCA for the State of Massachusetts since March 2021, Michelle also holds a long-term role at Precision Coating, where responsibilities have included Quality Engineering Associate, Training Coordinator, and Quality Inspector since June 2011. In this capacity, Michelle has worked with ISO-certified processes for Teflon coatings applied to medical device components. Previous roles include Quality Assurance Technician at Interplex from March 2020 to 2021 and Coating Application Specialist at Boyd Coatings Research Co., Inc. from June 2009 to June 2011, where tasks involved problem-solving, training, coating formulation, and record maintenance.

The company has the ability to work with customers from concept to commercialization and has two facilities, one dedicated to flexible prototype work and one dedicated exclusively to high volume medical device coating applications. Precision Coating is pleased to offer the customized Fluoropolymer (PTFE, FEP, PFA) coating needs of the medical device industry, including exact standards of depositing precise coating thickness (2.5 to 20 microns) to meet and exceed strict customer tolerances.
