Precision Cognition Labs develops the Seattle-Groningen Memory Assessment (SGMA). This accessible test can efficiently estimate the speed at which the user forgets information in an adaptive test session of 8 minutes, without any significant test-retest effects occurring.

The SGMA is unique and innovative because it is the only digital test worldwide that is based on a cognitive model of memory: a detailed mathematical simulation of the memory processes and resulting behaviour of an individual user. This means the test is based on decades of scientific research in cognitive psychology. The adaptive test algorithm measures the rate at which the patient forgets information based on accuracy and reaction times, and adjusts the difficulty of the test to match the patient's performance. As a result, the user's memory score can be determined in a short time, in an accessible way, and with great precision.
