Michael Shea

Michael Shea is a seasoned Machine Design Engineer with over 25 years of experience in mechanical engineering and project management. Currently serving at Precision Dose, Inc. since May 2023, Michael leads the design efforts for automated production machines in FDA-compliant pharmaceutical packaging. Prior roles include Senior Mechanical Project Engineer at Acro Automation Systems, Inc., and Mechanical Project Engineer at Better By Design, where Michael specialized in custom automated and robotic manufacturing solutions. With extensive expertise in SolidWorks and AutoCAD, along with experience in strategic partnerships and ROI calculation, Michael has contributed to various companies throughout a career that began in 2001. Michael holds a Business Management Degree and qualifications in Business & Mechanical Engineering Technology from Northern Illinois University, Harper College, and Elgin Community College.
