Lisa Shaffer is the Founder and Manager of Shaffer Capital, drawing on over 20 years of experience in human genetics to enhance diagnostic testing for inherited diseases in dogs. As the Founder and former CEO of Paw Print Genetics, they established a vital resource for canine genetic health, offering tests for over 140 genetic conditions across more than 200 dog breeds. Lisa has served as a Board Member for various organizations, including Greater Spokane Incorporated and the American College of Medical Genetics Foundation, and has held academic positions at Washington State University and Baylor College of Medicine. Currently, they are the Executive Chair of the Board at Precision Epigenomics. Lisa earned a BS in Biology from Washington State University and a PhD in Human Genetics from the Medical College of Virginia.
