Matthew Dowell has been working at Precision Plus since May 2017, starting as a Manufacturing Engineer Intern and eventually moving up to the position of Manufacturing Engineer. Matthew has experience in designing, assembling, and programming automated part inspection solutions, driving technological improvements, reducing scrap through cross-departmental coordination, and implementing 5S methods to reduce downtime. During their time as an Automation Engineer Intern, Matthew designed automated machinery and programmed/wired PLCs. Matthew graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2019.
