James Outland has extensive experience in private equity and board leadership, currently serving as the Managing Partner at New Capital Partners since 2000. Outland holds multiple board chairman positions across various organizations including Precision, Huddle Up, ACES Risk Management, and Medsurant Health. Additionally, Outland is a co-owner of Birmingham USL Professional Soccer and has contributed to Healthfuse and Volly as chairman. Outland also served as a board member for Collect Rx and led TeleHealth Solution™ as chairman until 2023. Outland earned a B.A. and B.F.A. in Political Science and Advertising from Southern Methodist University, graduating in 1987.
