Vanessa Pierce

Vanessa Pierce is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in proposal development, marketing, and journalism. Currently serving as the Proposal Development Manager at Avenue Consultants since June 2024, Vanessa previously co-founded and has served on the Board of Directors—Emeritus for SheJumps since June 2007, which empowers women and girls through outdoor skills. Vanessa held roles including Copy Supervisor at Precision AQ, Strategy Director and Senior Copywriter at Afton Klein Group, and Brand Manager at Vail Resorts, showcasing expertise in integrated marketing strategies and brand communication. A former freelance journalist, Vanessa has written extensively for various publications and held positions in digital marketing and social media management. Vanessa holds a BA in Journalism and Political Science from the University of Washington and an Associate of Science degree in Professional Pilot from Salt Lake Community College.
