James Baumgardner

James Baumgardner is a Senior Research Economist at Precision AQ, a position held since 2015, where leadership is provided to project teams delivering health economics analyses for pharmaceutical and life sciences companies. Prior to this role, Baumgardner served as Deputy Assistant Director at the Congressional Budget Office from 1994 to 2015, co-leading a team focused on health policy research related to Medicare, insurance coverage, and legislative initiatives. Additionally, Baumgardner was an Assistant Professor of Economics at Duke University from 1985 to 1994. Baumgardner holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Chicago.
