Carmen Navarron, PhD, has extensive experience in neuroscience and drug discovery, focusing on neuroinflammation associated with Alzheimer’s disease. As a Drug Discovery Research Scientist at Alzheimer's Research UK, Carmen led internal drug discovery projects through cross-functional teamwork and collaboration with academic leaders. Earlier roles include Visiting Researcher positions at UCL and Achucarro Basque Center for Neuroscience, where cutting-edge techniques in brain inflammation were studied. Carmen holds a PhD in Neuroscience from Universidad Miguel Hernández de Elche, along with an Executive Program in Medical Affairs from CESIF and a Master's in Translational Neuropsychopharmacology.
