Steven Acker

Steven Acker is a Managing Director of Metals at Preco, where they lead technical and business development efforts. They previously worked at PPG as a Manager for Fireproofing and Engineering Projects, collaborating with owners and engineers on corrosion and fireproofing material selection for global construction projects. Steven also gained valuable experience as an Engineering Project Manager at Plasma Coatings and in various roles at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee, including as an Undergraduate Researcher focusing on nanomaterial performance in high-temperature environments. They hold a Bachelor of Engineering in Materials Engineering from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee.
