Mingbo Zhao

Mingbo Zhao is an accomplished engineering and product development executive with extensive experience spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the Vice President of Product Development at Precor since January 2024, Zhao previously held key leadership roles at Fluke Corporation, including Senior Director of Engineering, where responsibilities encompassed global engineering and R&D leadership, strategic planning, and significant business growth. At Smiths Interconnect, as Vice President of Engineering for the Power Business Unit, Zhao led a successful M&A process and drove the unit's growth from $90M to $130M before its sale for $204M. With a robust background in product management and engineering across various companies, including Lutron Electronics and a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Cornell University, Zhao has consistently demonstrated a strong capability in managing cross-functional teams, product innovation, and strategic leadership. An MBA graduate from The Wharton School, Zhao also co-founded ZhaoShi Import and Export Co. and has contributed to research and education in academic settings.
