Mark Poag has extensive experience in legal, investment, and academic fields. Mark served as Senior Vice President at Datacert, Inc. from 2001 to 2014, leading legal, marketing, and strategic alliances for the corporate legal management company. Prior to Datacert, Mark was an Associate at Bracewell LLP, specializing in complex finance and mergers. Mark is currently involved as an Investor and Board Observer in various companies, including Predata, NewsGuard, and DetraPel, among others. Additionally, Mark co-founded Fitz Gate Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm, and serves as an Adjunct Professor and Lecturer at Rice Business and Princeton University, respectively. Mark holds an AB in History from Princeton University, where Mark was recognized with the Clio Award in 2022 for contributions to graduate students.
