Doug Schmid has extensive experience in the field of laboratory management. Doug began their career at Predictive Biotech, Inc. in 2016 as a Laboratory Director, and later took on the role of Chief Laboratory Officer in January 2017. Doug held this position until September 2022. In 2022, they joined HealthTech Wound Care as their Chief Laboratory Officer.
Doug Schmid received their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from Brigham Young University from 1986 to 1994. During this time, they were enrolled in the Zoological Medicine Residency Program at the university. Later, from 1994 to 2000, Doug pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Physiology at The University of Utah.
