Daniel Yarnold

Process Engineer at Preem

Daniel Yarnold has held various roles in the field of process engineering, starting with their current position at Preem AB since 2018. Prior to that, they worked as a process engineer at AkzoNobel from 2017 to 2018. Before joining AkzoNobel, they were a process and project engineer at Coryton Advanced Fuels Ltd from 2015 to 2017. Earlier in their career, they served as an assistant plant manager at Whelan Refining Limited from 2013 to 2015. Additionally, they gained experience as an undergraduate process engineer at Huntsman from 2011 to 2012, and as a student researcher at Laurentian University in 2011. Daniel also worked as a process operator at Yara International in 2010 and 2009.

Daniel Yarnold obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Bath, where they studied from 2008 to 2013. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications including Comprehensive Explosion Science from the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE) in October 2016, Asset Integrity Management in the Process Industries from IChemE in May 2016, Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) for the Process Industry Sector - IEC 61508 / 61511 from 4-sight Consulting in December 2015, and CS2M Working in Medium Risk Confined Spaces from CSTS Ltd in July 2014.
