Thorsten Wiemer

Thorsten Wiemer has extensive experience in procurement and purchasing management, currently serving as Purchaser - MRO at Preem AB since October 2021, responsible for purchasing static and rotating equipment along with spare parts. Prior to this role, Wiemer held various positions at IMI Hydronic Engineering AB, including Senior Commodity Manager and Purchasing Manager for Sweden, overseeing the acquisition of machinery, equipment, and utilities. Wiemer's career includes strategic purchasing roles at TA Hydronics AB and Finnveden Metal Structures AB, focusing on castings, rubber components, and raw materials. Wiemer began a career in logistics in the German Federal Armed Forces, where responsibilities included managing purchases for helicopter weapon systems.
