Brad Evans

Brad Evans is currently the Manager Director of People at Prefect. Prior to joining Prefect, Brad was the Human Resources Manager at the University of California, Berkeley from May 2018 to June 2021. In this role, Brad was responsible for the HR relationship and service delivery for BEARS Region client groups, acting as the key point of client contact and developing client-specific profiles/knowledge-based materials. Brad also led a team of 50 HR professionals to support 13,000+ employees across hundreds of departments with 19 labor contracts.

During their time at UC Berkeley, Brad made recommendations for necessary changes or improvements to policies, programs, and practices, and supported clients in successfully implementing such changes. Brad was also responsible for partnering with other managers across teams to foster a work environment that is inclusive.

Brad Evans has a Bachelor of Music in Trombone Performance from Indiana University Bloomington, and an Emerging Leaders Program Fellowship in Executive Leadership from the League of American Orchestras. Brad also has a bachelor's degree from CompassPoint and is certified by SHRM as a Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP).
