Miguel Arias

Miguel Arias is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the fields of space exploration, augmented reality, and software development. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Prefixa since February 2005, Miguel has a strong focus on XR explorations for space, ISRU, ISAM, and digital twins. In addition, Miguel has contributed as a Strategic Advisor at Prefixa Inc. and previously held the role of CEO for a company specializing in 3D custom software solutions. Notable recent roles include serving as XR Director at Orbital Outpost X and as Director of PolyWorks Mexico. With a robust academic background, Miguel has held teaching and researcher positions at institutions such as INAOE, Université Laval, and the Universidad de Guanajuato, and has obtained a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Université Laval, along with several other advanced degrees related to electronics and communications.
