Eric Gagnon

Eric Gagnon's work experience starts in 2002 as a Conseiller en finances personnelles at Desjardins, where they met and advised clients and analyzed their financial situations. In 2009, they worked as a Software Developer at Nobel Biocare, where they were involved in the 3D CAD software conception and the design of Web Services. From 2011 to 2015, Eric worked as a Senior Software Developer at Olympus NDT, developing a high-performance C++ library and modifying existing software systems. Eric then joined Emergensys Solutions inc. as a Senior Software Developer, where they created reusable components using Angular and developed Microservices using .Net RestAPI and EntityFramework. At Desjardins, from 2018 to 2021, they served as a Technical Lead, working on reusable web components using Angular and participating in code review meetings. Eric then joined Qohash as a Staff Software Developer, before being promoted to Senior Software Developer, where they developed high-performance cross-platform software using Go and analyzed legacy code bases to propose architecture modifications. Finally, they currently hold the position of Senior Quantitative Developer at Desjardins.

Eric Gagnon has a diverse education history. Eric pursued a Program court de 2e cycle en génie logiciel (short graduate program in software engineering) at UQAM | Université du Québec à Montréal from 2019 to 2020, specializing in the field of informatique (computer science). Prior to this, they completed a Baccalauréat (Bachelor's degree) in informatique (computer science) from Université du Québec à Chicoutimi between 2007 and 2009. Additionally, Eric obtained a Baccalaureat (Bachelor's degree) in administration et gestion des affaires, finance (business administration and finance) from the same institution from 1999 to 2002.
