Joel Rogers

Joel Rogers is a DL Research Engineer at Preimage since October 2020, leading research and development efforts in real-time 3D reconstruction and point cloud generation, with a focus on novel NeRF adjacent systems. Previously, Joel was an Embedded Software Engineer and Full Stack Engineer at IITMSAT from May 2017 to July 2020, contributing to India's largest student satellite project and developing a web-based ground station interface. Additional experience includes a Master Thesis Project at the Image Processing Lab at IITM, a Full Stack Engineer role at Mercari, Inc., and event coordination for a significant e-sports competition during college. Joel holds a Master of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, earned in 2020.
