David Benson

David Benson has a long and varied career in the technology industry. David began their career in 1991 as a Senior Non Commission Officer and System Analyst with the U.S. Army TACOM LCMC. In 2006, they became a Tier 2 System Administrator and Project Manager with Engineering Solution & Products Inc. In 2013, they returned to Computer Task Group as a Tier 1 AIX System Administrator. In 2014, they interned as a Tier 2 Linux System Validation Engineer with IBM System Technology Group. In 2015, they returned to Computer Task Group as a Tier 1 AIX System Administrator. In 2016, they began working as an independent consultant as an AIX/Linux System and Network Administrator, CompTIA Security +, and Software Engineer. In 2018, they became a Senior Field Service Technician with Baylor Scott & White Health. In 2021, they enrolled in the Cisco Network Academy training program studying and preparing for CCENT and CCNA certification. In 2022, they began working as an Information Technology Specialist with Premier LogiTech and retired the same year.

David Benson attended New Horizons Computer Learning Centers - Killeen Texas from 2017 to 2018, where they earned a Certification in Network and System Administration/Administrator. David is also currently attending Sullivan University, where they are working toward a degree in International Business/Trade/Commerce. Additionally, they obtained an AIX 7.1 Certification from IBM in August 2013.
