Chendi Cui

Chendi Cui, PhD, MBBS has a diverse work experience in the healthcare and research field. Currently, they work as a Principal Research Scientist at Premier Inc. starting from July 2023. Prior to this role, they worked as a Senior Research Scientist at Premier Inc. from January 2022 to July 2023.

Before joining Premier Inc., Chendi Cui worked as a Health Services Researcher at Highmark Inc. between January 2020 and January 2022. In this role, they conducted research, literature reviews, and led research projects to improve member care and provider strategies.

Chendi Cui also gained experience as an Analytics Data Integration Developer Associate at UPMC Health Plan from August 2019 to January 2020.

During their time at the University of Pittsburgh, Chendi Cui served as a Graduate Student Researcher from August 2016 to July 2019. They also worked as a Research Assistant from September 2015 to July 2016 and from September 2014 to August 2015.

Other experiences include being a QIT Fellow at the Jewish Healthcare Foundation from January 2015 to May 2015, an Intern at The George Institute for Global Health from September 2013 to June 2014, and a Student Researcher at UC Davis from July 2013 to September 2013.

Chendi Cui began their medical career as a Medical Intern at Beijing Shijitan Hospital from January 2012 to July 2013.

Chendi Cui, PhD, MBBS, received a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree in Preventive Medicine from Peking University in 2014. From 2014 to 2016, they pursued a Master's Degree in Epidemiology at the University of Pittsburgh. They then furthered their education at the University of Pittsburgh, obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Epidemiology from 2014 to 2019.
