Dima Awad

Dima Awad has a diverse work experience in various sectors. They held senior leadership positions at Premier Inc., including Vice President, Advisory Services and Strategy Operations, and Vice President, Advisory Services. Prior to working at Premier Inc., Dima was a Consultant at United States Pharmacopeia. They also have experience in the academic field, serving as a Guest Lecturer at the University of Malta, University of Illinois at Chicago, and Preceptor at Chicago State University. Dima was a Founding Member and Editor in Chief at Leaders Excellence, Inc. Additionally, they were a Member of the American Lebanese Medical Association. Their expertise in pharmacy services is evident through their role as Administrative Director and Chief of Pharmacy Services at Stormont Vail Health. They also worked as a Senior Consultant at Visante® Inc. Dima founded and served as the Chief Executive Officer of Optics Performance LLC, providing comprehensive services and strategic advice to healthcare organizations in the pharmaceutical and biotechnological sectors.

Dima Awad holds a Master's degree in Pharmacology from Université de Montréal, which was obtained from 2003 to 2006. Additionally, Awad has acquired various certifications in areas such as medication billing and finance, patient safety, and safe medication practices from different institutions and organizations such as 340B University Apexus, the Center for Medicare and Medicaid, and the American Society of Healthsystem Pharmacists and Institute for Safe Medication Practices. Furthermore, Awad has attended the Quinlan School of Business at Loyola University Chicago and the University of Minnesota for executive healthcare programs and clinical pharmaceutical care, respectively. Awad has also received training in network and system administration from Omnicell and Epic Inc. Lastly, Awad has studied pharmacy at Université de Monastir.
