John Bishop

John Bishop currently serves as Senior Corporate Counsel - Employment at Premier Inc., beginning in January 2024. Prior to this role, John worked as an Associate Attorney at McGuireWoods LLP from September 2018 to January 2024, focusing on labor and employment law. John also practiced as an Attorney at Robert Roark, PLLC from January 2016 to September 2018, specializing in employment defense litigation and litigating matters under Title VII and the Kentucky Civil Rights Act. Earlier experience includes a position as a Summer Associate at Wyatt, Tarrant and Combs, LLP in 2013, where John contributed to the Intellectual Property and Litigation practice groups. John holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of Kentucky J. David Rosenberg College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Classics and Political Science from the University of Kentucky.
