Joshua Bennett

Joshua Bennett, MD MBA has extensive experience in the healthcare industry. Joshua has worked as an Independent Consultant since 2015, specializing in areas such as patient-centered medical home, care management implementation, and Medicare programs. In addition, they have served as a consultant Chief Medical Officer for a startup Medicare Advantage health plan. Prior to that, they worked as a Principal at Premier, Inc. starting in 2011. Before that, they held the position of Senior VP in Market and Network Functions at Bravo Health from 2007 to 2011. Earlier in their career, they worked as Vice President of Quality and Cost Management at HealthAmerica from 2002 to 2007.

Joshua Bennett, MD MBA, completed their education with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Pre-Medicine from Penn State University in the years 1970 to 1974. Subsequently, they pursued their medical education at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, where they obtained their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from 1974 to 1978. In 1996 to 1998, they attended DeSales University and earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Health Care Management. Additionally, they obtained the certification of Certified Content Expert, NCQA PCMH from NCQA in May 2015.
