Kevin Barnes

Kevin Barnes has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Kevin currently serves as a Board Member at Launch Tower Health, where they are dedicated to supporting healthcare technology companies and promoting innovation in the Charlotte region. Prior to this, they held various roles at Premier Inc., including Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and Vice President of Strategy and Corporate Development. Kevin has also worked as a Strategy and Policy Consultant at the Council for Children's Rights and as the COO and General Counsel at TBT payment acceptance solutions. Kevin has further experience as the Vice President of Investments at Purepay Receivables Automation and as an Associate in Investment Banking at McColl Partners, LLC. Before entering the private sector, Kevin served as an Air Force Officer in the United States Air Force.

Kevin Barnes holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law from the William & Mary – Raymond A. Mason School of Business. Kevin also has a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from the William & Mary Law School. Kevin obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Human Factors Engineering (Ergonomics)/Arabic from the United States Air Force Academy. Kevin received their Lawyer certification from the North Carolina State Bar in 2004. Additionally, Kevin completed the Leadership Charlotte program in 2006-2007. Prior to their higher education, they attended Auburn High School.
