Christopher P. is a highly experienced bioinformatics scientist and software engineer with a strong background in developing custom bioinformatics pipelines and data visualization platforms. Currently serving as a Senior Bioinformatics Scientist at Prenetics since February 2022, Christopher previously held roles as a Bioinformatics Scientist and Researcher at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, where significant contributions included the development of an RNA-seq differential gene expression bioinformatics pipeline. Prior to this, Christopher worked at Yale University as the lead full stack developer for a web-based data visualization platform related to the UN Sustainable Development Goals and contributed to environmental sensor data visualization initiatives at the Center for Architecture Science and Ecology. Christopher's early experience includes a research assistantship in electrical engineering and software development internships, complemented by a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering from Cornell University and an MPhil in Life Science from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
