Patrick Schreiner has an extensive work experience in the field of development. Patrick started their career in 2008 as Team Leader of Structural Biology at Proteros biostructures GmbH. In 2013, they became Head of Protein Chemistry at Mikrogen GmbH. In 2019, they were appointed as Head of Research and Development at Mikrogen. Most recently, in 2021, they were named Head of Development at PreOmics.
Patrick Schreiner completed their Pre-Diploma in Chemistry at Ulm University from 1998 to 2000. Patrick then went on to earn their Diploma in Chemistry at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München from 2000 to 2003. During this time, from 2005 to 2005, they also worked as a Scientific Associate Max-Planck-Institute of Biophysics, focusing on Hybridoma cell culture. In 2008, they earned their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemistry from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München. Additionally, Patrick Schreiner has obtained several certifications, including a Zertifizierter Validierungsbeauftragter from CONCEPT HEIDELBERG GmbH in 2018, DOE - Design of Experiments from GE Healthcare in 2016, Äkta-Diplom für ÄktaPure/ÄktaAvant-Systeme from GE Healthcare in 2013, Promotionsurkunde from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität (LMU) München in 2008, Äkta-Diplom für ÄktaExplorer/ÄktaPurifier-Systeme from GE Healthcare in 2006, and Diplom Chemie from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität (LMU) München in 2003.
