Matt Wiitala

Matt Wiitala has a diverse work experience spanning over several years.

Starting in 2005, Matt worked as an Overnight Team Lead at Target until 2006.

From 2006 to 2011, they served as a Football Coach and Hallway Para at Minnetonka Public Schools, where they assisted administrative and teaching staff, supervised athletic events, and promoted a safe learning environment for students. Matt also worked as a Youth Recreation Program Manager, developing and maintaining recreation programs for various age groups, and actively participated in event planning committees.

In 2018, Matt joined the City of Shoreview as a Recreation Coordinator, where they led and managed Adult and Youth Recreation programming and sports leagues. Matt also handled scheduling of athletic fields in city parks and played a key role in developing new policies, procedures, and fees for athletic field users. Matt'stenure at the City of Shoreview lasted until 2021.

In 2019, Matt became a Board Member for the Maple Grove Youth Football Association, a position they will hold until 2023.

In 2020, they served as the Athletic Management Group Chair for the Minnesota Recreation and Park Association Inc.

Starting in 2021, Matt took on several roles. Matt joined Prep Network as an Event Operations Manager and F45 Training as an F45 Group Fitness Instructor.
