Tim Sorweid

Tim Sorweid currently serves as the Director of Software Engineering at PrePass since August 2025. Previously, Tim held the title of Director of Engineering at Platform Science, where responsibilities included managing a diverse portfolio of fleet solutions and overseeing 72 engineers across multiple teams. Tim's significant accomplishments encompass leading key product milestones, achieving substantial reductions in application crashes, and enhancing overall product quality. Prior roles include Senior Software Engineering Manager and Software Engineering Manager positions at Platform Science, as well as a recognition as WGU EdTech Rookie of the Year while at Western Governors University. Tim’s extensive experience spans from agile coaching to product management, with a foundational background in computer science from the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh.
